First of all, I want to thank Bryony of Perfectly Imperfect Mama for tagging me in this blogger tag. I love a good question and answer session. This particular tag was created by Okoto Enigma. Let’s get down to the rules of the Mystery Blogger Award.
Rules
- Put the award logo/image on your blog
- List the rules
- Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog
- Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
- Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
- Nominate 10 – 20 people
- Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
- Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
- Share a link to your best post(s)
So, the rules have been pasted and numbers 1 – 4 have already been completed. On to the next few!
Three things about myself
I was once ‘chatted up’ by Calum Best on Twitter. DM’s and an offer of a Blackberry pin, the works. I turned him down as I was engaged to be married. He will forever be referred to as ‘the one that got away!’
I am a complete Apple addict, and I’m not talking the fruity kind. My iPhone is my heart monitor and my Macbook is my pride and joy. My little one is lucky he gets to use the iPad as much as he does. I should get shares in Apple.
I passed my driving test on Friday, 13th July 2001 on the first attempt. Don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s an unlucky day!
The five questions I’ve been asked by Perfectly Imperfect Mama
If you had any super power what would it be and why? (that’s the ‘funny’ question’)
I would be invisible. There is nothing more that I would love than to be able to go anywhere and see anything and hear everything without anyone knowing!
What’s your most impressive ‘go to’ meal that you can cook?
Cottage Pie. But let’s not talk about it because I really don’t cook anywhere near as much as I should. I’m a bad wife.
Are you ok?
Not too bad thanks. I’ve a bit of a headache actually but I need to eat so I’m sure after I have, I’ll be good!
What is your hometown best known for?
Well, it’s funny you should mention that! I’m from Stratford Upon Avon so it’s all about the main man William Shakespeare – I did a big project with the National Express for his Birthday celebrations – you could take a look while you’re here… Shakespeare’s Birthday Parade – The National Wonders Tour
What board game always ends badly?
For me, Monopoly because I always end up bankrupt! Good job I’m better with money in real life!
Sixth question (because she breaks the rules): Would you rather live your entire life in a virtual reality where all your wishes are granted or in the real world?
Genuinely? In the real world. I’m grateful for everything I have, and I’ve worked damn hard for all that I have. I would never want to become complacent and greedy.
Six questions to my 12 nominees
What was the first record/cd you ever bought and how old were you?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Which film or tv character is most like you and why?
If you were one of the three wise monkeys, which would you be and why? Hear no evil, see no evil, or speak no evil? (That’s the weird question)
What’s for dinner tonight?
Best childhood memory?
My best post/s
This is really tricky because I have quite a few favourites, but the most popular ones are Am I Less Of A Mum As A Mum To Just One and He Broke Me. Both posts are written from the heart. But if you want one to make you blub a bit, read ‘‘For My Little Man As He Starts ‘Big School‘, I actually cried writing it.
My nominees
I’ve done my bit. Now it’s over to my nominees. They are as follows:
And because I’m a rule breaker too – I’m only nominating eight! I look forward to seeing your posts!

I love a good blogger tag post. They’re really fun. Great answers. I don’t cook as much as I should either. Or clean. Or iron… I could go on and on.. I’m always joking with the OH about how rubbish a ‘housewife’ I am lol. He agrees! Haha x #TriumphantTales
Ha ha! I too am an Apple addict! #TriumphantTales
What a great post! I totally agree with your answer to the last question, I would much rather live in the real world, however tough it might be at times. #TriumphantTales
I think I agree with you on being invisible!! I always use the phrase ‘if only I was a fly on the wall!’

This was good fun to read. And that Calum Best is a nobody anyway. If it had been his dad though… Those eyes, that smile, that talent… ah! 😍 x #TriumphantTales
