When thinking about how my week has been to write this week’s post, there was one word that came to mind. Tiring. I have been so tired this week I’ve actually irritated myself for going on about it so much.
The Little Man has been poorly this week. I’ve been out a couple of nights in a row (shock horror!) and I have just had really bad nights. I feel very run down and extremely, did I mention it, tired?!
The last couple of week’s Wednesday Wisdom posts have been a touch on the serious side, so this week’s isn’t going to be long at all. It was just a quote I found amusing and rather apt for myself lately.
My day starts backwards.
I wake up tired and go to bed wide awake
Why is it you’re shattered in the morning yet at night, the minute you lay your head down, you’re wide awake and can’t sleep. I think in all honesty I’ve been over tired – and I’ve been like a cranky toddler complaining about it. As I write this on Sunday evening, I’m hoping I’ll have had a good couple of decent nights sleep and am feeling better.
Nevertheless, I’m sure many of you will relate to this little nugget of wisdom.
See you next week. x

I hate it when you’re tired all day but then go to bed and you’re wide awake! This happens to me quite often and it’s so annoying! x
I know exactly what you mean!! 😫 x
Looking forward to the cotbed moving out of our bedroom and into our little one’s own room. It’s lovely seeing her smiling face first thing in the morning, but it’ll be easier to relax with our own space back – and better sleep will hopefully follow.
It will for sure. For all of you. As hard as it will be to start with. I think I spent many a night just popping back and forth! Still do! He’s 4 now!! 😄😄 x
