First of all I must apologise for not posting a Wednesday Wisdom blog post last week. I replaced it with an article that wasn’t planned, but was one that I am so pleased I wrote. If you’ve not yet read it, pop along and have a read – What I’ve Learnt Since Becoming a Huff Post Blogger. While you’re there I urge you to read the comments, left for me by my fellow blogger buddies. I’ll warn you though, there are quite a few!
It’s the response I’ve had to this post and the comments left for me that are behind this week’s Wednesday Wisdom quote.
I am so humbled and grateful for all the kind words that I have received. The support has been completely and utterly overwhelming and to read such lovely words, has been totally amazing.
The blogging world can be a tough place. There is a lot of hard work involved if you want to be successful. We put our heart and souls into every blog post and every now and again it is inevitable that we are going to encounter people, or situations that may make us doubt what we are doing. Situations or circumstances that may knock our confidence. And whilst I turned my negative experience into a positive one, to receive the kindness that I did from my fellow bloggers was more than I ever could have wished for.
Therefore this week’s quote is for each and every one of you that left me a lovely comment.
“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echos are truly endless”
– Mother Teresa
I can’t thank you all enough. With each comment that was left came a smile on my face as I read the supportive words. I never wrote the post expecting any kind of praise or to have my ego inflated. I wrote it, probably to vent a little about how something positive can be so easily be turned into a negative. But with your help we have gone full circle and I am now more confident about my writing than ever.
Thank you everyone. Your kind words mean more to me than you will ever know.
See you next week.
