10 songs that make me happy

Everybody knows that music is good for the soul. Music is my ‘go to’ when feeling a bit down in the dumps. It can be an instant ‘pick me up’ when I’m feeling that things are getting on top of me. It’s my happy place. I’m never happier than when I’ve got the volume turned up loud. So this post is all about 10 songs that make me happy.

I must point out that they’re not the only  10 songs that make me happy. This post was extremely tricky to write as it depends how my mood takes me. But they are certainly on my (ever-growing) list of go to tunes to put me in a good mood.

I’m not going to bore you with explanations, I’m just going to let you sit back and (hopefully) enjoy!

  1. The Coral – Jacqueline
  2. McFly – Star Girl
  3. ELO – Mr Blue Sky
  4. Kavana – Deja Vu
  5. The Kooks – She Moves In Her Own Way
  6. Gin Blossoms – Til I Hear It From You
  7. Robbie Williams – Candy
  8. Bon Jovi – Beautiful World
  9. The Monkees – Daydream Believer
  10. Guns N’ Roses – Rocket Queen (particularly from 4.30 onwards on this particular video!)

So there we have it. A little insight into the songs that make me smile. A varied mix, I’m sure you’ll agree. But then isn’t variety the spice of life?!

    What songs make you happy?

Oh my goodness, I’m totally with you on ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’ by The Kooks! That song always makes me smile.

Gosh there are so many songs that make me happy although I’m drawing a blank right now because you’ve asked the question!! Two temporary happy songs are “Can’t stop the feeling” by J.T. and “This is what you came for” by Calvin Harris / Rihanna. My daughter loves them too. Oooh and actually “Sugar” by Maroon 5 was ‘our’ song from Mat Leave so that’s another one.

    Music is truly awesome! #CoolMumClub
