Movie Based OnYour Life Tag

A movie of your life. Can you imagine? I have been, as recently I was tagged in this awesome Movie Based On Your Life Tag by Sarah over at Whimsical Mumblings.

I thought at first that this was going to be really difficult, but actually, when I got into it, I found the answers quite easy! Read on to see what it’s all about.

1. Who would play you in the movie, and why?

I was told once, quite some time ago that I looked a little like Kate Hudson. Now obviously I took this as a HUGE compliment. I’m sure I was out at the time and so alcohol could have impaired their vision, but I took it and ran. And so for that reason alone, I pick her!

2. Who would play your Significant Other? (if you have one)

I have to admit, for this, I Googled ‘actors with beards’ and who should pop up, but the perfect answer to this question. Now the Husband doesn’t think he looks like him, but I think there is a remarkable resemblance. So, I give you, my ‘husband’, Ryan Gosling!

3. What genre of movie would it be?

Well it would have to be a Rom Com. We’ve had our fair share of giggles and at the same time, our ups and downs and dramas, but it always works out in the end. All together now “aaaaahhhhh”.

4. What would the movie be called?

“Winging It”. Quite simply, because we are, daily. Life. Parenthood. You name it, we’re winging it as we go!

5. What would be the opening song at the start of the movie?

It would be ‘Baby I Love You” by The Ramones. It’s a song we had played during our wedding day (at some point) and I think it’s always sounded like it should be in a film. So why not mine?!

Now this wasn’t enough for me. I had a vision after I’d done all this. So if I was going to have a film, I’d picked my actors. I’d picked my title, my music, my genre. Damnit I needed a movie poster. So, I made one!

So there we have it. A movie of my life all ready and raring to go! This is a really fun tag to do, so I now tag, if they fancy having a go, Bridget from Bridie By The Sea, Lianne from The Brunette Says and Lianne from Mrs Mummy Harris. Have fun guys!

Who would play you in a movie based on your life? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for tagging me it was a lot of fun! x

I think I’d get Bruce Willis to play me, not because I look like him (obviously not) but because he’s the coolest bald guy there is. Not sure how he’d get on with a Yorkshire accent though.

    • Jaki 2 March 2017 at 22:14

Ah I’m sure he’d master it – being the legend that he is!

Oh this is brilliant. I love your answers. And that movie poster is pure genius. You do indeed look like Kate Hudson and congratulations on having Ryan Gosling as your husband. You have made many people very very jealous. Hugs Lucy xxxx #MarvMondays

So many people have said I do look like her which has shocked me actually, but I’m not complaining!!! 😀 Thanks so much. It was a fun one to do! Not sure I want the husband’s ego to inflate too much so I might keep it to myself that he is Ryan Gosling-esque!! 🙂 xx

  • WebMDiva 28 February 2017 at 18:09

You are totally Kate Hudson’esque! (And who could be mad at Ryan Gosling as a ‘husband’?)

I love this. My movie would be a horror/comedy/suspense/tearjerker. Hmmm, it’s not sounding very appealing now that I think about it. LOL!

    • Jaki 2 March 2017 at 22:04

Hahah! I don’t know it sounds like something I’d watch!! 🙂 I woudln’t kick Ryan Gosling out of bed either! 🙂

You really do look like ms Hudson… I’m so jealous! If I wanted a badass (and much much hotter) version of me, it’d be Angelina Jolie, but if I was going for the sweet, wholesome approach, Jennifer Love Hewitt. Major girl crushes right there! #bestandworst

    • Jaki 2 March 2017 at 21:56

Do I really?! Ah thanks. That’s made my week! 🙂 Top girl crushes!!

Wow, this looks fun! There is definitely a little bit of a Ryan Gosling resemblance going on too! I think it’s the beard and face shape! #CoolMumClub

    • Jaki 3 March 2017 at 20:41

Yes! It is! Ryan’s eyes are a little too close together for my liking, but other than that, I wouldn’t complain!! 😄😄

Fab tag and not one that I had seen before. I think I would be rubbish at completing this as I’m not so good when it comes to films. Thanks for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
