These Signs Could Indicate You’re Not As Healthy As You Think

Maybe you’re doing what you can to be healthy, and you’d say you’re in pretty good condition. If you experience any of the below symptoms and signs, it could actually be an indication that you’re not as healthy as you think you are. You might brush some of them off, but they could easily point to something more serious.

You Have Irregular Periods

Irregular periods are totally normal for some people. If you’ve had them pretty much forever, and maybe even already been to a health professional about them, then you can relax. However, sudden changes in your periods can mean a problem. It may only be a temporary problem, such as stress. Maybe you’ve even been really active lately. However, it could also be something more serious. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is commonly associated with irregular periods, as are thyroid issues, and even some STIs. If you haven’t already, make sure you get it checked out.

You Have A Little Pot/Bloated Belly

You might think you have some weight to lose, but this isn’t always the case if you’ve developed a small pot belly, or feel bloated. One factor contributing to this could be stress, as the high levels of cortisol in the body can make you hold onto belly fat. It could also mean allergies to a certain food you’re eating, or even IBS and other serious bowel problems. Your belly becoming a little bigger after food is normal, especially if you eat a lot. However, if you’re seriously bloated even after a small meal, you could have more serious digestive issues to work on.  

Bone Pain

Bone pain shouldn’t be considered normal, no matter what your age is. However, if you’re over 40, eat a poor diet, and some kind of medication, this could well be a sign of osteoporosis. You Suffer With Insomnia

You Have Skin Problems

You Snore

Snoring at night time can be hard to diagnose if you’re sleeping by yourself. You could try recording yourself as you sleep to see what’s going on. Snoring isn’t always harmless, it can mean a deviated Septum, or another serious problem, like your airways becoming blocked as you sleep.
