Online Fashion For Busy Mums Like Me

I have always loved clothes shopping. I am a typical girl and before I had my little boy I would very often be found browsing the shops on the weekend trying to find the next bargain or the next stunning pair of heels to add to my ever-growing collection. I would occasionally browse online fashion sites but more often than not I would prefer to do my clothes shopping on the High Street because I had the time to do so.

That was then, however. These days I rarely get the chance to mooch my favourite clothes shops and even when I do, the Mum in me always feels like I’m in a rush to get home to the little man. So, in recent years I’ve taken to the internet to get what I need. I used to think online fashion shopping was a bit of a bind. You couldn’t try things on, you had to wait for them to arrive and then if items weren’t suitable, you have to send them back. You know the kind of things. However, I’ve realised over the last couple of years that shopping online for my essentials (and non-essentials, we all deserve a treat after all), really does have its advantages.

What I love about online shopping is that I can do it whenever I want. I don’t have to rush to get to the shops, I can scroll to my heart’s content late at night if I want to. I can take my time and not make any hasty decisions. When you shop in high street shops, you very often see the same old thing and is there anything worse than going somewhere and then ending up in the same outfit as someone else? How cringe is that? And what I also like is that I can really make sure that I am getting the best deal I can get without running around between shops.

I’m a sucker for a bargain and I won’t buy anything unless I know that I am getting it for absolutely the best price. I very often check online for promo codes for money off vouchers and even free delivery if possible. Very soon we’ll be able to browse Sello – a new upcoming e-commerce site, where we can explore hundreds of online voucher codes to save on brand-new products from independent retailers. This is great because it means we’ll be wearing clothes that are different from our mates for a fraction of the price. This is really exciting.

I will continue to be a follower of fashion in any way that I can. There is nothing quite like coming home to try on your new purchases whether that’s because they’ve been delivered or if you’ve picked them up in the shops. What can I say? Shopping is my cardio, and if online fashion shopping works out cheaper for me, I’m more than happy to get some ‘exercise’ in more frequently! And I’m not going to complain about that!

I usually shop from a selection of trusted brands – but perhaps shopping for a better price is what I need to do. Thanks for the heads up about sello xx

I love a voucher site. I use Topcashback a lot and if you combine with other offers you can get a super deal. More clothes for me! (who am I kidding… it pays for Christmas).

I hardly ever get the chance to go shopping on the high street so online is the way forward. Especially with next day delivery. It can be rather dangerous too. I get shiny object syndrome! lol

We don’t 90% of all our shopping online. I sometimes miss the mooching around shops but largely I like to just get what I need and be done with it.

I agree online shopping can be so much more convenient than getting into town, I do love to shop, even if it’s not for me. I think it’s my therapy! #TriumphantTales

Oh for those long day of yesteryear where I could shop for hours with friends laughing and trying stuff on and sometimes buying and sometimes now. Such a joy and decades since last enjoyed. Online is super convenient and I love signing up for the email promotions and dreaming of what I will buy next. These days I look after myself better and for the first time ever have set myself a budget to spend on my own clothing every month to ensure I have a treat at least once in the month fashion wise. #TriumphantTales
