Those of you who are regulars to this blog will know that the subject of Cancer is an emotional one for me. So whenever I get the opportunity to help out where I can with Cancer charities, I do. Today is no different.
Every year Macmillan host coffee mornings to raise money for the Macmillan nurses who support patients and their families, during and after their Cancer treatment. It’s the world’s biggest coffee morning to raise money. Last year alone they raised £25 million!
Macmillan nurses are amazing and do an incredible job.
Macmillan Coffee Mornings are a simple but effective way to raise money. People donate cakes and treats and more people come along to buy them, have a drink and a chat. It’s a great way to bring everyone together and raise money for a fabulous cause at the same time. They have been taking place in the UK since 1990! Needless to say, they are so successful they now take place every year and they are all organised by normal people like me and you.
