Thinking of moving to Marbella?

The UK can get a little depressing as the colder months move in and we wave goodbye to Summer. It can be at this time of year that we get tempted to pack up and move to somewhere that’s guaranteed all year sunshine. Marbella is becoming increasingly popular with British expats, so if you are thinking of moving to Marbella, read on to be convinced some more.

Hello sunshine!

We’ve already mentioned the sunshine aspect. Did you know that Marbella has 320 sunshine days a year? Winters are warm every year and summers are just a delight. It’s that warm that swimming in the sea is a must-do!

Activities aplenty

There are plenty of things to do in Marbella. If you are a keen golfer there are over 70 Golf courses to choose from and many tennis courts, football pitches and even a trampoline world. There are fun activities for everybody in Marbella. But if you are after more of a relaxing way to spend your weekends, you have the beach or pool to choose from.

Housing needs sorted!

There are housing tastes to suit everybody. There are small and cosy apartments to the more extravagant villas. No matter the size of your bank balance there will be a property available that is compatible. Marbella real estate is thriving at the moment and there really is something for everyone.

First-class schooling

If you have smaller people to consider then you really don’t need to worry about the education system in Marbella. Marbella has the best international schools and colleges. English schools are primarily private but do offer some of the best education in Spain. The children that attend will grow up speaking at least 2-3 languages. You don’t get that un UK schools.

Safety in numbers

Marbella is a very safe place with very little criminality and no terrorism at all. It may be small but it’s a busy little town with just 130,000 residents.

Beachlife

The beaches are to die for and are the perfect place to spend a relaxing day. The frontline beach apartments are the ideal place to live if you fancy living life with a sea view. Situated at the northern end of the “Old Town” and with easy access to bars, cafes and restaurants as well as shops on the high street. It’s the perfect location.

So if you weren’t convinced before, I’m pretty certain you will be now. If you’re seriously considering moving to Marbella, there really are far worse places you could start a new life.
