As far as landscapes and natural beauty goes, Iceland is a country that just can’t be beaten. With the natural fireworks of the Northern Lights, you’ll feel struck by how much there is to see here. There are natural springs and even snowmobile tours to go on too.


There’s a lot of preparation that goes into a holiday to such a cold country, but you’ll find it’s very much worth your time. Many of the heavier clothing pieces can just be rented, as you probably won’t be using these again anytime soon. This is known as the land of fire and ice for a reason, so get ready to see some serious natural beauty here!

    It may not be an adventurous country, but kayaking in the PNW is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. There is something great about unplugging and getting out on the water!
