Christmas Shopping Made Easy – Boy’s Clothes Edition

Christmas Shopping Made Easy - Boy's Clothes Edition

There are only so many toys you can by children. If your house is anything like mine, it will be overrun with toys and you will soon be finding yourself struggling for space. We always assume that Christmas shopping for children should consist of buying more and more toys, but what if it didn’t have to?

My Little Man may only be (almost) five, but he loves his clothes. He is already so picky about what he wears that I actually like to take him clothes shopping when the time comes that he needs a few new bits! Five going on fifteen, clearly!

I’ve put together this brief guide to my current favourite places to shop for boys clothes and my favourite item from each place.

Milksok.com – Milksok is an independent brand run by husband and wife team Sam and Joe. Sam got in touch and asked if I would be interested in trying out one of their items and I jumped at the chance. Their designs are edgy and unique and I love that style – it’s so hard to find anything that is a bit unusual on the high street. They champion the concept of gender neutral designs, which in this day and age, is a brilliant thing!

I went for the Spidermoon kids t-shirt and I wasn’t disappointed, and neither was the Little Man, as you can see.

The sizes are purposefully generous because having got kids themselves, Sam and Joe understand how quickly little ones grow. The t-shirt came with a cute little card and a badge too. A nice touch for the kids. I love their designs and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Matalan – I love this camo coat from Matalan. It’s so cold at the moment that we need to keep the little ones warm. I’m really tempted by this one. It’s long enough to keep their little botties warm and snuggly enough to keep ears and necks warm. It’s a great price too.

H & M – I just LOVE these cute little Hi-top trainers. They are so up Little Man’s street. He’s currently running around in some Timberland boots that his Auntie bought him last Christmas so I know boots are comfy for him. These will be great when we move from Winter to Spring!

Next – I have to be honest, Next are my ‘go to’ brand for Little Man’s clothes. He is so tall and slim that I struggle to find jeans and trousers anywhere else. There adjustable waists mean I can buy the perfect length and adjust the waist accordingly. Not only this but they wash so well. They also do a lovely slim fit trouser which is perfect for school uniform. Any others we have tried just swamp his little legs. I love their jeans. They are so trendy and we have quite a few skinny fit pairs in the small one’s wardrobe.

Tutakids.co.uk – I was contacted by the lovely folks at Tuta and I am so glad I was. This gorgeous hooded is Little Man down to a tee! It’s a hooded jersey top with a faded denim style so as we head into Spring next year it will be the perfect lightweight jacket. Tuta have some really lovely clothes and you can search the products by style, which is just great.

boohoo.com – Well look. If you can get a t-shirt with your pet name on it, then you just have to have it don’t you? I’ve had my eye on this gorgeous ‘Little Man’ top for ages and I could resist it no longer whilst writing up this post. It will be winging it’s way to us over the next few days! Boohoo have some super trendy clothes which I love. You have probably got the general jist of Little Man’s style by now (or is that my style?!). High street stores and supermarkets are okay for the odd essential, but I love the online stores for the more unique things.

I think it’s safe to say that my little boy is quite a trendy little boy. I just love clothes shopping for him and there’s every chance he’s trendier than his Mumma these days!

Where do you like to shop for your children’s clothes and will you be buying clothes for Christmas shopping this year? Let me know in the comments.

*I was gifted these items in return for an inclusion in this gift guide. I only include items I am happy to recommend. All words and thoughts are my own.

Hi-tops on little feet are the greatest thing! My little girl loves wearing hers, I reckon she would give those ones a shot too! Nice choices. #TriumphantTales

People are going to love you for this post as so many focus on girl’s clothes and it can be difficult to know where to go for trendy boys clothing which was fine with my oldest son who only wears clothes to keep warm but my youngest was so fussy about what he wanted to wear as so much more image- conscious. You are so right about the amount of toys a kid can have and the changes are they will only get bored at some point anyway 😉 I love the t-shirts, I am a sucker for slogan ones X #triumphanttales
