Kids Birthday Parties With A Difference

The pressure to give your child the greatest birthday party ever is huge. They get to that age where the party invites come flooding in and before you know it, it’s your turn and you’re under pressure to come up with something super exciting and probably something that hasn’t been done before. What on earth do you do?

Fear not. I am here to help you. Take a look at these kids birthday parties with a difference!

Laser Tag Party

Had you ever considered the fun kids could have at kids laser tag parties? Children ages 6 and up can enjoy a fun morning or afternoon playing outdoor laser tag. The technology has come an awfully long way over the years and with the rise of gaming, in general, they are a hugely popular idea for kids of all ages. New technology is much more lightweight than it ever was, which means now younger children can get in on the action. Go Laser Tag London is at the forefront of this change. They are the first venue in the UK to be running with this amazing new equipment! Can you imagine how popular you would be if you booked this for your kid?

Active birthday parties

Keep the kids active and burning off that birthday cake with active birthday parties. Boogie Bounce Parties involve children having a trampoline each and they dance to music on it. The instructor shows them lots of different dance moves and they don’t get bored!

Parties are quite common at gymnastics clubs. Here they can play games and get taught some basic gymnastics moves. It keeps them active whilst they have fun.

How about a football party for your footie mad little one? The children all play ball related games and then have a final match of two teams. You can give a medal and instead of party bags and even give all of the children a football each.

Themed parties

When choosing a party with a theme, the options are endless. I asked some fellow bloggers for some ideas and they helped me come up with the following list.

  • Harry Potter – planting, slime making and bath salts for potion making.
  • Fairies and Dragons – mud kitchens, potions and marshmallows on the fire.
  • Music parties – hire a recording studio and the engineers teach the kids to play a basic song and they get to record it and film it too.
  • Science parties – A scientist comes in and does experiments and slime making with the children.
  • Pirates – A pirate party with a treasure hunt.

Don’t forget your party bags! Check out this post of mine that will help you with that dilemma!

As you can see. When you put your mind to it, the options are endless. And let’s be honest, it makes a change for us parents to do something a bit different to the usual bouncy castle and party games.

Did you like these ideas? What party will you be doing this year?
