Wahoo! Week 80! I love round numbers and can hardly believe that we are on week 80 of Triumphant Tales already! I hope you’ve all had a fab week and thanks for coming back again this week!
Another Friendly Reminder
During our commenting this week we have noticed that some posts have been lacking in comments or the #TriumphantTales hashtag. PLEASE, we can’t stress enough how important it is that you are commenting on the posts that you are meant to be. It’s what makes linky work and it’s only fair that everybody is getting some comment love. After all, that’s why we are all here!
Time can run away with us, as busy Mums, we understand that. If you need a bit more time, just let us know. We won’t mind. From next week we will be closely monitoring the comments and any persistent offenders may end up having their posts removed in the future. Also, remember to put the hashtag on the end of your comment so that we know you have done your bit.
Have You Been Sharing Your Pictures With Us On Instagram?
We would LOVE you to start sharing your #TriumphantTales photos on Instagram. We have such a great community here in this linky that we would love to get together with you over on Instagram. I’ve been attempting to up my IG game recently, and so we would love to take a look at all of the pictures you upload throughout the week. Simply tag your images with #TriumphantTales and once a month, at the end of the month, we will pick a selection of our favourites and share them here in the linky post.
Keep scrolling to see who’s made it to my favourites in the Instagram round up this month – keep sharing, we love to see them!
*Please note, by using the #triumphantales hashtag on Instagram, you give permission for the photos to be shared in the Triumphant Tales blog post should they be selected.

When we moved house 3 summers ago, this one was just 4 years old. She was desperate to walk on the balance beam, but kept falling off. I encouraged her to play with other things like the slide and swings, but she would always come back to the balance trail… And one day, SHE CONQUERED IT! If you want something, go for it. Even when others try to put you off, keep working towards your goal. Don’t let the setbacks get you down. Be confident in your own ambitions and pursue your own dreams. Today has been nice, caught up on some work, general parenting, bumped into a friend and her newborn baby so had a nice catch up and baby hugs. My kids have had a great day at school too – Oscar got his first ‘terrific ticket’ for doing well in phonics, Trix has sat and listened to the teacher and Winifred and I have enjoyed the silence! This photo was taken after some water play – by water play I mean she shat everywhere and I had to bathe her. • • • DAY 88 #100daysofhappinesschallenge #smiles #gummybear #KCACOLS #clickinmoms #Tribalchat #Ukparentbloggers #Pinklinker #100happydays #louthmummies #letthembelittle #happylittlebuttons #explorers #proud #nofilter #littlefierceones #mixedrace #bubba #blueeyes #thirdbaby #thisisparentingMFM #snaphappybritmums #bloggermum #pointshoot #triumphanttales #bathtime #waterdrops #sensory #bloggerstribe #mumsnetparents

#firstdayofschool2018 He wasn’t so keen on standing still for his photo. He was so excited this morning, I was a bag of nerves. I think my nerves rubbed off on him (probably all the “are you ok” questions) and when I left he had gone shy. He did hug me goodbye a little longer and once I left I peeped through to see my baby looking so small and lost. That was not the boy I picked up. He came bouncing out and was pretty annoyed he was only there for 3 hours today. I’m glad he likes going… #oureverydaymoments #rememberthesedays #littleloves #myhappycapture #raisinglittlepeople #myheartmelts #parentlife #perfectandproud #cameramamas #triumphanttales #blogstravaganza #pickleandpoppet
On to the linky!
For those of you that are new here, welcome along and let me introduce the linky to you.
Me and the lovely Lianne over at Mrs Mummy Harris have teamed up to host #TriumphantTales; a parenting/family and lifestyle linky where pretty much any kind of posts are welcome!
Perhaps you have reviewed something for a company you’ve been wanting to work with for a while? Did you successfully have a night without baby stirring? Perhaps your child successfully uses the potty, or even more so… have you managed a whole day without thinking of wine o’clock?
ANY SUCCESSES; BIG OR SMALL, WE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THEM!
This is where Lianne and I will each pick our favourite post from the week before. The lucky blogger will then get to take home a Featured Blogger badge and pin it on their blog!
My featured blogger this week is Zoe from The Tale Of Mummyhood with her post The Body Positivity Movement And Why I’m Not Sure I Like It. Thank you so much for sharing, and don’t forget your badge!
1) The link opens on Tuesday mornings at 6 am and you have until midnight on Thursday night to submit your posts.
2) You can link up a maximum of two posts, they can be old or new just as long as they haven’t been posted here before.
3) Please make sure you include the #TriumphantTales badge on your post or in your sidebar (HTML code is below). Failure to do so could result in your post not getting a comment.
4) Do comment on one of each of the Host’s posts, the post before yours and one of your choice (so this will mean four comments in total – but feel free to comment on more posts if you wish). Please use the hashtag #TriumphantTales to let us know you have commented.
5) If you would like your post retweeted please mention us and use the hashtag #TriumphantTales.
7) Please do not link up other linkys. It is not part of the blogging etiquette to do this and we would appreciate if you refrain from alternative linky promotion here.
Please do follow us on our other social media platforms too, if you would like to:
Feel free to share any posts you have enjoyed – sharing is caring and all that!
