Every now and again, you can come across challenges on Facebook and I love to take part in them. The trouble is, I’ve got such a bad memory that I forget to do them for a day or two on the trot and never end up finishing them. This one was no different. So I decided to put my answers into a nice little blog post. I give to you, my 30 Day Music Challenge.

Day 1 – A song you like with a colour in the title: Muse – Supermassive Black Hole
Day 2 – A song you like with a number in the title: Green Day – 21 Guns
Day 3 – A song that reminds you of Summertime: Bob Marley – Stir It Up
Day 4 – A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about: Michael Jackson – Bad (despite this, I still love it!)
Day 5 – A song that needs to be played LOUD: Oliver Heldens – Last Night
Day 6 – A song that makes you want to dance: Justin Timberlake – Can’t Stop The Feeling!
Day 7 – A song to drive to: Robbie Williams – Mixed Signals
Day 8 – A song about drugs or alcohol: Guns N’ Roses – Mr Brownstone
Day 9 – A song that makes you happy: The Ramones – Baby I Love You
Day 10 – A song that makes you sad: The Hollies – He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother
Day 11 – A song that you never get tired of: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Face Down
Day 12 – A song from your preteen years: Take That – Could It Be Magic
Day 13 – One of your favourite 70’s songs: Creedence Clearwater Revival – Have You Ever Seen The Rain?
Day 14 – A song that you would love played at your wedding: Kings Of Leon – Use Somebody (our first dance song)
Day 15 – A song that is a cover by another artist: Mark Ronson feat Amy Winehouse – Valerie

i’m depressed now….#12 – are you really that much younger than me?
I believe Could It Be Magic was released in 1992 – I would have been 11….! 😄
This is such a good post! You’ve got me in the mood for music this morning. I love your taste in some of them too. Muse and Green Day are firm favs. Plus that Meghan Trainor song is brilliant. I can’t get on board with Snow Patrol though. That would go under my someone to forget catagory 😉
#fortheloveofBLOG
Haha! It breaks my heart as it reminds me of a bad time! That’s all. Never been a particularly huge fan! Glad you enjoyed the post – it took AGES to put together, I kept changing my mind! 😄
He ain’t heavy, but my brother is… always bring s a smile to my face when I hear that one.
Great list, will maybe put my list together.
It’s funny how different songs mean different things to people. That’s a real sad one for me as it was played at my Uncle’s funeral. Please do let me know if you do one 🙂
This is a great idea and I love the songs you have here. About to head over and check the second half! I really love ‘Super Massive Black Hole’ too. Suspect I might have to copy you on that one if I give it ago. Music is so powerful and really brings back memories! #fortheloveofBLOG
It really does. It took me ages to put it together because I kept changing my mind! Let me know if you do one, I’d love to see it 🙂
So many great songs here., love Muse. Take That provided the sound track to my teenage years x

Having read both posts i love how varied your taste is – I love me some Queen and Bowie!! Quite possibly my all time favourite tune of all time!! #anythinggoes
I love so many different types of music! I’m most partial to the loud guitar variety though – I think this comes through on this post! 🙂
Ooh I love this post, do you mind if I pinched it and credited it back to you? 🙂 #MarvMondays
Of course not – go for it, that would be lovely, thank you! Let me know when you’ve done it and I’ll be sure to check it out 🙂 x

Oh god I love this play list, I now have bob marley blaring out of my computer and my son has come in and given me a quizzical look! I need to educate him in his music tastes!:) I’m going to enjoy playing a few of these while I’m sat here. Thank you!

Ah my pleasure! So glad you enjoyed it. I had fun putting it together! Doesn’t that Bob Marley track put you straight on the beach!! 😎xx
Well done on completing the challenge! I am not much of a music person myself so I would find it very hard to do such a thing. Any month-long challenge is a struggle anyway – Life gets in the way and I just forget about them after a while. x
#FamilyFun
That’s exactly what happened so I sat down and did it in one go! It was good fun! X
Love this challenge you should make it a tag! Thank you for sharing with us at #ablogginggoodtime 🎉
I think a few people are doing it so feel free to have a go! 🙂 x
Agree with day 6! I can’t say it’s my favourite song but as soon as it comes on you want to dance and sing along to it! x
#SharingTheBlogLove
Absolutely! You can’t help yourself can you?! X
This is a great idea for a post. I love Muse and Green Day were my faves when I was a teenager. The only music I get to listen to these days is toddler tunes and kids film soundtracks!!xx #pocolo
Ah bless you, I went through that stage but I think my brainwashing is paying off! 😄 Xx
These are all such good choices. I like most of these songs and some of them I had forgotten about!
Thanks for linking up to #AnythingGoes 🙂
Debbie

It took ages! But was fun!
