Getting More Organised With A Peg Board

Getting More Organised With A Peg Board

I have spoken countless times here on this blog about getting more organised. I lead quite a hectic life, juggling many things at once and very often I am trying to find something at the last minute and end up getting in a flap about something or another.

We have recently done quite a lot of decorating in our house. I told you recently how we gave our Little Man a bedroom makeover. On the very same weekend we painted our bedroom as well. We have a two bedroom house, so in terms of working space for me, we are limited. I have a little corner of our bedroom where I have a desk that is my space to tap away on the blog (I make it sound so relaxed!). I needed something to help me get some organisation back in my life. Somewhere to keep things that I need to find quickly, when I’m in a hurry. This is when I discovered the peg board.

The ‘Block’ Medium Peg Board

This peg board is from a really cool online shop called Red Candy, who not only stock these but lots of other stylish and unusual accessories for the home. The peg board is so versatile that you can use it for anything you like. The things I have on there at the moment are things I need quickly and I can never remember where I have put them. Such as sunglasses, sellotape and hair bobbles to name but a few! I also have a couple of wedding invitations on there I need to respond to and some of the Little Man’s latest artwork from nursery.

My Block medium peg board currently retails for £40 and came with fixings to add it to the wall, as we have done. But of course, you could stand it on the desk as well if you preferred. The pegs can be put in any of the slots you choose – to get it just right for you.

It’s a great addition to my desk space and I’m really looking forward to using it more in the future.

How do you keep your desk space organised?

I wish I had desk space ! When the littlest moves out of our room I may well create one. In which case I may then consider this idea, sounds like a good storage solution! #blogstravaganza

Lovely way to stay organised, but I think £40 is a bit steep
