I was inspired to write this post after being in touch with the lovely folk at Love Layla Designs. Love Layla produces a wide range of greetings cards. They’re not your usual cards that you might find in your local supermarket. They are indeed unique, but at the same time, they are funny, rude and definitely cheeky.
I was lucky enough to receive a few samples. I absolutely love them and can’t wait to give a few of these to friends this year. Take a look.
These a are sample of some of the ones I could share! There are a few that a probably not suitable for a family blog (if you know what I mean) but a bit of adult humour is always good fun and I’m sure would be appreciated by your friends! Not only that but they make a pleasant change to the usual cards that we all give and receive.
Love Layla also make wrapping paper too as you can see in the photograph above. The quality is really very lovely and I know exactly who I will be using this ‘Best Bitches’ gift wrap for this year!
Love Layla also sent me this fab little wall calendar which is currently hanging in my kitchen. A different funny quip for each month of the year will be sure to raise a smile by you and those that see it. My particular favourite for this year’s calendar is October.
When you start looking through someones Facebook profile and the next thing you know, you’re on their cousin’s wife’s sister’s profile looking at photos from Maguluf 2009.
We’ve all been there, right?!
These cards and calendars are really good value for money and really worth looking at if you want to give greetings cards that are a little bit different this year. These are great. Cards are getting so much funnier now. It is always a round moment when somebody opens your card and it is passed around the group of friends for a chuckle. These would definitely do this!

the cards are great, i always have a stock pile of cards and love to send post out, sadly not much comes back my way but hey ho. I’ve taken to sending post cards now for birthdays as postage from Dubai is expensive and post cards seem to arrive quicker #triumphanttales
