Triumphant Tales Linky #72

Triumphant Tales Linky #72

Hi everyone! Well, that first week of the summer holidays flew by! Wasn’t it a scorcher? I picked a great week to have off work. It’s made me excited for the weeks to come. I think I was more excited because I managed to find a fan, which are rarer than rocking horse poop at the moment! I’m already over the short spell of rain we’ve had and am ready to welcome the sunshine back with open arms!

Just A Polite Notice

Unfortunately, we have noticed a few people link dumping and also linking up more than TWO posts each week. If you’re not sure of the rules, please refresh your memory by reading them at the bottom of the post.

From now on we’re monitoring the linky more and will remove the link without notification. Anyone found to be constantly link dumping will end up being removed from the linky altogether.

Please do not make us clamp down on you all, we’ve built an amazing community and want it to remain fantastic!

Have You Been Sharing Your Pictures With Us On Instagram?

I’m super excited about our new feature. We would LOVE you to start sharing your #TriumphantTales photos on Instagram. We have such a great community here in this linky that we would love to get together with you over on Instagram. I’ve been attempting to up my IG game recently, and so we would love to take a look at all of the pictures you upload throughout the week. Simply tag your images with #TriumphantTales and once a month, at the end of the month, we will pick a selection of our favourites and share them here in the linky post.

*Please note, by using the #triumphantales hashtag on Instagram, you give permission for the photos to be shared in the Triumphant Tales blog post should they be selected.

This month’s featured Instagram pictures!

10 years ago, aged just 21, I walked down the aisle and married a curly-haired Welshman. Since then, we’ve graduated from university, had 2 kids, lived in 4 houses in 4 different cities, started 2 businesses, lost 2 grandparents, gained 3 nieces and 1 nephew, we’ve laughed, cried, sung and sobbed. I loved him with my whole heart when I said, “I do”, and somehow I love him a million times more now than I did then. This is my love story ? Happy anniversary, hubby XXX . . . . . #10yearweddinganniversary #tenyearweddinganniversary #mylovestory #mystoryoflove #ourweddinganniversary #triumphanttales #coolmumclub #littleloves #pinklinker #stayclassymama #ihavethisthingwithpink #capturingcolour #ukparentbloggers #mummybloggersuk #leedsbloggers #capturemypositive #littlelivelaughlove #lovelyhappypic #capturingtheday #thismamaloves #thesatsesh #highlightsofhappy #happyselves #loveletterto #sharedjoy #shootandshare #familyyorkshire

I’m not crying, you’re crying! How is it possible that today is my Leo’s last day of reception?! It’s all gone so fast! We are off on our holidays to France tomorrow and I really want this boy to have such an amazing time. He’s been through a lot since September, settling into school was hard for him and just when he was really starting to love it we went and moved him away from all his friends and teachers he adored and he has had to start all over again. It’s not all been smooth sailing for Leo since we moved but we are so incredibly proud of him and his school report reflects what a wonderful, clever boy he is. Now if you can just excuse me, I’m off to go ugly cry about how fast my baby is growing up!

On to the linky!

For those of you that are new here, welcome along and let me introduce the linky to you.

Me and the lovely Lianne over at Mrs Mummy Harris have teamed up to host #TriumphantTales; a parenting/family and lifestyle linky where pretty much any kind of posts are welcome!

Perhaps you have reviewed something for a company you’ve been wanting to work with for a while? Did you successfully have a night without baby stirring? Perhaps your child successfully uses the potty, or even more so… have you managed a whole day without thinking of wine o’clock?

Featured Blogger

This is where Lianne and I will each pick our favourite post from the week before. The lucky blogger will then get to take home a Featured Blogger badge and pin it on their blog!

My featured blogger this week is Kate from Kate On Thin Ice with her post Reflections on swimwear and body confidence and one woman’s amazing legacy. We were all shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Kate from WitWitWoo. This post summarises wonderfully how much of an impact Kate had on us all and how she continues to inspire others. Thanks for sharing and don’t forget your badge!

The Rules

1) The link opens on Tuesday mornings at 6 am and you have until midnight on Thursday night to submit your posts.

2) You can link up a maximum of two posts, they can be old or new just as long as they haven’t been posted here before.

3) Include the #TriumphantTales badge on your post or in your sidebar (HTML code is below)

4) Do comment on one of each of the Host’s posts, the post before yours and one of your choice (so this will mean four comments in total – but feel free to comment on more posts if you wish). Please use the hashtag #TriumphantTales to let us know you have commented.

5) If you would like your post retweeted please mention us and use the hashtag #TriumphantTales.

6) Please follow both Lianne and me on Twitter – @mummyharris86 & @JakiJellz

7) Please do not link up other linkys. It is not part of the blogging etiquette to do this and we would appreciate if you refrain from alternative linky promotion here.

Please do follow us on our other social media platforms too, if you would like to:

Lianne: Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
Me: Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

Feel free to share any posts you have enjoyed – sharing is caring and all that!

*By submitting a link to this linky you are giving permission for us to send you a weekly reminder via email. Please refer to my privacy policy for further information.

Jaki, thank you for hosting. I can never decide the best time to add my link. I post on Thursdays only, and I can either add my link then when there’s 9 hours left or wait until the next linkup on Tuesday. What do you recommend?

Hi Jean, it really is entirely up to you. Do you find you are getting comments? If not, it might be worth waiting for the following week as I know a lot of people do their comments as soon as they link up. Perhaps do it differently for one week and see if it makes a difference. Thanks as always for your continued support.
