Welcome to week 109 of the Triumphant Tales linky. By now all the kids should be back at school after the Easter break and the old routine well and truly back into. I’ve been getting used to a new routine with my new job – but it’s making life a lot easier working from home three days a week! More on that soon!

We have read through all of the feedback we have received so far and are taking it all on board. If you haven’t yet filled out the form, check out the details below…

We’d love your feedback!

We have noticed, and are sure you have too that the amount of posts being linked up to the linky has dwindled somewhat over the last few weeks. Obviously, this is quite disheartening to see when we have always had such regular contributions from you guys. We have put together a small form that we would be super grateful if you could fill out for us. Just so we can see if there is any way we can improve the linky for you all. We have made the form anonymous so you can be as honest as you like without any fear of upsetting us!

If you would prefer to email us directly, or direct message us then you know where to find us! If you want to go ahead with the form, just click the link below.

Take me to the linky feedback form!

Have You Been Sharing Your Pictures With Us On Instagram?

We would LOVE you to start sharing your #TriumphantTales photos on Instagram. We have such a great community here in this linky that we would love to get together with you over on Instagram. I’ve been attempting to up my IG game recently, and so we would love to take a look at all of the pictures you upload throughout the week. Simply tag your images with #TriumphantTales and once a month, at the end of the month, we will pick a selection of our favourites and share them here in the linky post.

*Please note, by using the #triumphantales hashtag on Instagram, you give permission for the photos to be shared in the Triumphant Tales blog post should they be selected.

I sometimes find gentle parents a bit reluctant to discipline their children. We have a strong focus on empathy (which is, of course, very important), but that makes us worried about upsetting our kids.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~•~⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Discipline is sometimes seen as a dirty word – I think we all remember being disciplined as children. Perhaps we resented it at the time or recognise in hindsight that we were treated unfairly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~•~⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But when I talk about discipline, I don’t mean being yelled at. I don’t mean smacking or being sent to your room. I don’t even mean punishments.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~•~⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because the word “discipline” actually comes from the word for “disciple”. Knowing this gives me a different perspective on discipline – I’m now thinking about developing my little ones, nurturing them, guiding them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ~•~⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For some practical tips on this, check out my new blog post – WHY IT’S VITAL TO DISCIPLINE, EVEN AS A GENTLE PARENT – 💻 https://lucyathome.co.uk/gentle-parenting/discipline-gentle-parent/ 💻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #triumphanttales #coolmumclub #pbloggers #pbloggers_uk #lovelyhappypic #gentleparents #gentleparentingblog #gentleparenting #motherhoodlens #motherhoodandme #mamahoodsquared #motherhoodthroughinstagram #LittleFierceOnes #mummyshot #mynorthernniche #showthemtheworld #explorerkid #outdoorkidsrock #respectfulparenting #respectfuldiscipline

On to the linky!

For those of you that are new here, welcome along and let me introduce the linky to you.

Me and the lovely Lianne over at Mrs Mummy Harris have teamed up to host #TriumphantTales; a parenting/family and lifestyle linky where pretty much any kind of posts are welcome!

Perhaps you have reviewed something for a company you’ve been wanting to work with for a while? Did you successfully have a night without baby stirring? Perhaps your child successfully uses the potty, or even more so… have you managed a whole day without thinking of wine o’clock?

ANY SUCCESSES; BIG OR SMALL, WE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THEM!

Featured Blogger

This is where Lianne and I will each pick our favourite post from the week before. The lucky blogger will then get to take home a Featured Blogger badge and pin it on their blog!

My featured blogger this week is A Rose Tinted World with her post Life Doesn’t Always Go To Plan.

Thank you, and don’t forget your badges!

The Rules

1) The link opens on Tuesday mornings at 6 am and you have until midnight on Thursday night to submit your posts.

2) You can link up a maximum of two posts, they can be old or new just as long as they haven’t been posted here before.

3) Please make sure you include the #TriumphantTales badge on your post or in your sidebar (HTML code is below). Failure to do so could result in your post not getting a comment.

4) Do comment on one of each of the Host’s posts, the post before yours and one of your choice (so this will mean four comments in total – but feel free to comment on more posts if you wish). Please use the hashtag #TriumphantTales to let us know you have commented.

5) If you would like your post retweeted please mention us and use the hashtag #TriumphantTales.

6) Please follow both Lianne and me on Twitter – @mummyharris86 & @JakiJellz

7) Please do not link up other linkys. It is not part of the blogging etiquette to do this and we would appreciate if you refrain from alternative linky promotion here.

Please do follow us on our other social media platforms too, if you would like to:

Lianne: Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
Me: Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

Feel free to share any posts you have enjoyed – sharing is caring and all that!
