I hate begging posts. It’s not in my nature at all to beg for votes in awards, but when there is so much fierce competition, sometimes it just has to be done. This post is all about the Tribal Chat Awards.
What are the Tribal Chat Awards?
The #TribalChat awards are run by the lovely Mummy In A Tutu and are held each year. This year the awards are being sponsored by Paladone and Norton & Co PR. There are many categories and as bloggers, we can be nominated in just three. The whole point of this post is to let you know, which category I would like to be nominated in.
So here we go.
Tear-Jerker Award
I pride myself on my writing and it has been known that I’ve made my readers shed the odd tear. I write from the heart and put all of my emotions into my personal posts. I’ve been told this comes across. For me, getting nominated for this would mean so much. To win it? Even more.
Best Writer Award
This is much the same as the last category, to be honest. My most popular posts are by far my more personal ones. Sometimes it’s hard to open up and lay yourself bare, but that’s when my writing becomes it’s best. Bloggers are often just called bloggers and not writers. I don’t believe this to be true at all. I have discussed all kinds of topics and even had messages from strangers thanking me for sharing my story because it’s helped them. This to me is what it’s all about.

Social Media Award
To win this, would be really chuffing cool. I work with social media on a daily basis so I’m very lucky to do something I love as a job. Not only that but I have worked really hard on my own social media over the last twelve months. My Twitter following has increased amazingly over the last year and that is through growing it properly. Being social – like you’re supposed to. I don’t like to just link drop and run. I stay, hang around a bit and chat to people. To me, that’s what social media is all about. I love social media, so to even be nominated for this, would make my year!
How You Can Vote

Voting is open from 1st October until 16th October. Anyone can vote! You can only vote for 1 person in a maximum of 3 categories. If someone is voted for in every category by a voter, this vote shall be made null and void. You don’t have to vote in every category – just the ones you want to!
