When I took up blogging oh so many years ago, I had no idea how much work was involved. I’ve mentioned this before on this blog. Blogging isn’t a walk in the park and an easy way to make a quick buck. It takes dedication and hard work and if you want to monetise it and make a bit of a living, you have got to be prepared to put in the hard work and have the dedication to make it work, long before the offers come rolling in.
Pinterest Problems
Social Media goes hand in hand with blogging and whilst I am the first to admit that I was always a bit of a Social Media addict, not all platforms appealed to me and I spent my time on some more than others. Pinterest was one of those platforms that I had dabbled in but I had no idea how to make it work for me. I kept hearing from other bloggers and the countless articles online that if you wanted to increase your site traffic then you needed to make sure you’re pinning on a regular basis.
I’m going to be honest with you. I didn’t have the time to learn this new skill on my own. I knew I needed to get a huge amount of my blog on Pinterest but I had no idea where to start and the very thought filled me with dread. I knew I needed help and if I wanted to make Pinterest work for me and my blog, I needed the help sooner rather than later.
Social Giraffe
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, Social Giraffe.

Social Giraffe offers digital marketing and virtual assistant packages whilst specialising in social media management and content writing. Social Giraffe is also run by Lianne Harris of Mrs Mummy Harris and so you can be safe in the knowledge that she has your best interests at heart and she uses a tried and tested technique after increasing her own Pinterest views. You can read all about her own Pinterest story here – How I Increased My Monthly Views By 3000% In Less Than 6 Weeks.

I got in touch with Lianne and explained my predicament and she was more than up for the challenge. She took my blog and made it blossom on Pinterest. Within the space of a week I was seeing results and I was literally watching the monthly views on Pinterest increase every day. Slowly but surely my website stats started to increase as well.
I handed my Pinterest over to Social Giraffe at the end of October last year and my statistics were abysmal. I got barely any traffic to my website and I didn’t have a clue how to use the platform to my advantage.
Three months later and I can show you by way of this screenshot what my Pinterest now looks like.

Yes, you are seeing correct – 421,000 monthly unique viewers! This is in just three months! I can honestly hardly believe my eyes. I can also tell you that Pinterest is now my second highest in referral traffic, the first being Google. I honestly can’t tell you how happy this makes me.
I mentioned earlier that I had no clue how to make Pinterest work for me. Lianne put all the hard work in, I just now had to keep it up. Lianne taught and advised me what to do and now it has become a part of my weekly routine to keep the Pins ticking over nicely. I use Tailwind to make this happen so it’s not as painstaking as it sounds.

Being a blogger is hard work – this is no secret. And you have to be honest that you can’t always be good at everything. Sometimes you need to admit that you need help and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But sometimes, half the battle is knowing where to go and who to trust to help you.
I can’t recommend Lianne at Social Giraffe enough. She is polite, friendly, has the desire to help you succeed and above all, she really knows her stuff. This is what’s important. If you are struggling with Pinterest (or any social media for that matter), I would strongly suggest getting in touch with Lianne and soon enough you will be wondering why you hadn’t done it sooner.
Big thanks Lianne, you’re a star!
