It’s a known fact that a good night’s sleep is of paramount importance. Not getting enough sleep can have a huge impact on our day to day lives and overall health and wellbeing. There are a number of reasons why people don’t get the best sleep and having the right mattress could well be the first step.
I had been having hip pain for quite some time and I had an inkling that it was because of the mattress I was sleeping on. It didn’t matter what sleeping position I was getting myself into, I just could not get comfortable. Therefore, when Nytex got in touch and asked if I would like to trial one of their new breathable next-gen memory foam mattresses, it was like all of my Christmasses had come at once.

The reason I was drawn to this Nytex mattress, in particular, was that it offers 7 Zone posture support foundation for maximum spinal alignment with superior hip and shoulder support. Obviously, with my hip complaint, I figured this would be a perfect choice. I was really looking forward to seeing if the simple task of a new mattress would make me feel like a new me.
Nytex mattresses are one of these super fancy in-a-box types of mattresses that can be delivered to your door in a non-imposing way. It’s not light and is a bit of a struggle to carry, but I managed to drag it and whilst I’m not a weakling, I’m not the strongest person in the world.
I loved unpacking the mattress and getting it in place. It was easy to unpack and I managed to cut the plastic protection sheeting off it within minutes and no sooner had I put that in the bin and returned to the bed, the mattress had literally sprung to life.
I left it a good few hours before diving on, despite being super excited to see how it felt. There was a bit of a smell, but that soon disappeared. I couldn’t wait to go to bed that night. I think I even had an unheard of early night!
I wasn’t disappointed. That night, I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I had the best night’s sleep I have had in years and I haven’t had one bad night since sleeping on this mattress and I am almost four weeks in. It’s safe to say, I don’t need 100 nights to confirm that I won’t be returning it. I’m not even slightly tempted.
So many mattresses come in boxes these days, but if you are having back or hip problems, then I would highly recommend the Nytex Lazarus mattress.
