Very interesting about Fremont, Ca since I used to work in that city for 20 years. It has changed a lot in the last few years. Way too much home construction going on. I was driving in the city and I noticed that they are throwing up these Monopoly townhouses on every piece of land that is 20×20. There used to be fields and orchards around but they are all gone.
The average home price is now $1.1 million, driving in the city has become a nightmare. Even doing things like going to Chipotle can test your patience. I remember when I was working in the city and went there about 4:30pm one evening and waited like 45 minutes to get my order placed. That is the new normal there. There is a lot more homeless in the city and smash and grabbers when you park your car.
I grew up in the Bay Area and it has so changed since I was a kid. Fremont has become just another impacted Bay Area city.
