Making Snowy Memories

I think it goes without saying that this wasn’t a scheduled post. I couldn’t let the opportunity pass of documenting what a magical weekend in terms of UK weather. We spent the day on Sunday making snowy memories. This kind of weather is so rare for us. So here it is in all its magical glory.

So how do you get a pretty Instagram feed? Go to where there is snow!

And if that wasn’t cute enough – just look at the joy of sledging!

I have just received the inevitable text message from the school to say that it is closed on Monday so it looks like we have another day either keeping warm or throwing more snowballs! It won’t last long so we have to make the most of it while it’s here, right?

How was your snowy weekend? Did you stay in the warm or did you embrace it like we did? Let me know in the comments.

Ah we had sooo much snow here too. The kids loved it. I found it slightly hard work as we had lots to do but it was really nice for the kids to enjoy it and it definitely is a nice memory! Thanks for joining us at #familyfun

We’re from West Yorkshire and the snow missed us completely… so we drove 70 miles south and ended up sledging near East Midlands airport! Snowdays are the best type of days aren’t they. Love your photos and your snowman! ☃ Thanks for linking to #DreamTeam x

Snow memories especially, in England /Wales last a lifetime because decent snow is so rare. Our son, now 20, talks about the snow memories from his childhood every time the weatherman predicts snow. This year it snowed loads at home but he was still at uni. He was bereft
