I’ve got to be entirely honest with you. This week’s Wednesday Wisdom quote is inspired by the photograph it’s placed over. The picture came first this week people, and it’s a picture I am really proud of.
I absolutely love blossom trees. For some reason, they remind me of my childhood. May days at school. Lighter nights and the promise of Summer. They are so pretty, what’s not to love?
I am lucky enough to drive through the countryside every morning on my way to work and as the seasons change, so does my view. The Summer is full of lush green grass. Autumn is a site with row upon row of gorgeous oranges and reds. The frosts look stunning during the Winter months, despite the roads being a little hair-raising to drive on, it does make for pretty viewing and the Spring is full of blossom – quite possibly my favourite.
I had been driving past this one particular tree for weeks and every day I kept telling myself I needed to stop and take a picture. The weeks kept going by and then one day I noticed that the blossom had started to fall and it had created a blanket on the ground underneath, it looked more stunning than ever. Now it was dropping I knew my time was running out. I made the decision that on my way home that day I would stop the car and get the picture, which is exactly what I did.
It’s one of my most popular photographs to date on Instagram. It seems a lot of people love blossom as much as I do.
The quote for this week speaks for itself:
“Be like a tree.
Stay grounded. Connect with your roots.
Turn over a new leaf. Bend before you break.
Enjoy your unique natural beauty.
Keep growing.”
I think we really could learn a thing or too from these wise words. And now I have included the aforementioned photograph for you to enjoy. Gorgeous isn’t it?

Thank you for reading. See you next week.
