I’ve Found The Ultimate ‘Mum Bag’

I’ve always loved bags. Almost as much as shoes. But not quite. I was no different when I had my Little Man and the time came to pick a changing bag. It took me a while to find just the right one.

Eventually, when you have a baby, that then turns into a toddler, you get to the point where you no longer need the changing bag. But what I have realised over the last couple of years, that although you can go back to using your own handbag – it’s never actually ever, completely your own.

The amount of times I have been looking for my car keys before leaving work, only to pull out a random Matchbox car, or the latest Happy Meal toy from McDonalds! The kids stuff somehow ends up working it’s way into your bag.

I have found when I go out with the Little Man that it’s easier to throw anything he may need, such as his drink bottle and a snack into my own bag rather than having to take a separate one for him. I clearly don’t have enough pairs of hands to carry my bag, his bag and hold his hand as we cross the road.

But if you’re going to do this, you need a bag that is big enough, yet organised enough for the job. Nothing irritates me more than having to rummage around my bag, looking for whatever it is I’m looking for, to not be able to find it.

Well ladies. Something fabulous has happened. I’ve found the ultimate Mum bag. Perfect for the very use I’ve just described to you.

French Connection Polly Panelled Tote Bag

The Ultimate Mum Bag

The Polly Panelled Tote Bag is the dream bag for me. Literally, the ultimate mum bag! Not only is it big enough for my things. Such as my purse, my phone, my diary, my umbrella and my make up, it’s also big enough to carry an iPad, a drink and snack for Little Man and any other small activity he might want on our travels.

It has three sturdy compartments. An inside pocket suitable for any small things you may want to keep safe. It also has two pockets that are big enough to slip your phone in – not a lot of bags these days have these that are actually big enough. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it fits a treat.

Not only is this bag really practical, making it super easy to stay organised and find what you’re looking for, with it’s gorgeous grey and cream colours and light gold shiny hardware, it’s so stylish as well. And all us Mum’s deserve to look and feel stylish.

What bag do you use to carry all the things you need on daily basis? Do you have an ultimate Mum bag?
