Top Time Saving Tricks For Your Hair

Your hair is a massive part of who you are. It says a lot about you, and it can be a way of expressing yourself. Sometimes though, you have a bad hair day and as stupid as it may sound to some people, if you are having a bad hair day then it can really affect your mood and ruin your day. Sometimes though, there isn’t enough time to have a good hair day and while we would all like to start our days using salon quality hairdryers, we can’t and we all have to get on with our day, so here are some quick and easy ways to sort out your barnet when you just don’t have time.

Use Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo has become a staple in most people’s hair care routine now, and if it’s not in yours, then that’s definitely something you’ll want to change. Dry shampoo is a godsend on those unwashed hair days, and there’s nothing else quite like it when it comes to making your hair look clean with minimum effort. Spray it all over your hair, including the roots, and then blow it dry and you’ll be amazed at how fresh, and pretty it looks. If you don’t have time to blow dry it, just brushing it out will still work in giving you fresher locks to go about your day.

Baby Powder

If you don’t have any dry shampoo and no time to get to the shops to get some, then hopefully you’ll have some baby powder knocking around as this does a pretty good job as a substitute. Sprinkle baby powder on your hands and then run them through your hair, paying particular attention to the roots, the jawline and underneath. This will make it instantly look and smell fresher as the baby powder soaks up the grease and makes it look new as like it just been washed.

Sea Salt Spray

Ever been in the sea and loved the texture and style it’s given to your hair, well you can go to the shops and buy a sea salt spray to provide you with the same look, or you can make your own salt spray with seltzer water and a teaspoon of sea salt. Mix 20 ounces of seltzer water and a teaspoon of sea salt in a spray bottle to make your own, then when you’re out of time but need a quick style, give it a spritz and a crunch, and you’ll have a lovely texture to your hair and look like a cool surfer chick.

Effortless Waves

While you could put your hair in braids overnight and wake up with beautiful wavey hair, if you have forgotten to do that then why not try braiding your hair quickly in the morning and then pressing your straighteners over them to create beautiful, imperfect waves. Cover Those Roots

If you’ve not had a chance to book yourself in at the salon, then a quick and easy tip is to apply mascara on your roots to conceal regrowth or greys.
