Welcome back to another week of my Guest Blogger Series. This week we have something completely different. Chelsea Hodges is a student from Colorado, USA. Chelsea writes a Lifestyle Blog – Think Feel Strong. I’ll let Chelsea introduce herself before leaving you to read her makeup related post – every girl’s guilty pleasure!

My Favourite Drugstore Makeup
I am very excited about this post because I love saving money, and I love helping others save money. I’ll admit, I’m not as big into makeup as I was a year or two ago, but it is always something I love to play around with. I’m going to share with you, my top favourite all time drugstore makeup products, I’ve used these for years. The products I’m going to share are “base products”, meaning they are very versatile and you can use them however you’d like to create countless makeup looks! Onto the products…
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Primer
This is a must, must have. If you don’t own this, girl you are missing out. This primer that costs less than $8 guaranteed at any drugstore is amazing. Every face primer should be lightweight, and this is. For such a low price, your makeup lasts all day long thanks to this primer.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation
This is just as the product describes, this is dreamy and velvety. I have noticed with this foundation that the coverage is phenomenal. This does a great job of covering blemishes and blending into your skin while feeling velvety and nice.
Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder
Maybelline likes to call their products dreams I’m noticing, but for good reason. This powder is very dreamy. It feels lightweight as you apply it onto your face, and provides decent coverage for a low cost.
Maybelline Fit Me Powder/Bronzer
Clearly, I enjoy Maybelline when I’m purchasing drugstore products. I believe they make very good quality products for such a low price. This one is called powder/bronzer in my opinion because it’s, however, you want to use it. If you purchase a lighter shade, you can use this as face powder. However, what I did was purchase a dark dark brown, this is used as a bronzer for me. I use this to contour, and I feel this does the job extremely well.
Wet N’ Wild Eyeshadow Primer
This is QUITE a steal. I remember purchasing this at a drugstore for literally 2 bucks. This is one heck of an eyeshadow primer, this thing makes your eyeshadow stick to your eyelids ALL day long, no creasing. Get this, honestly. I love this thing.
Those are my favourite drugstore makeup products! I really hope you found this useful and can go find these at your local drugstore, who doesn’t love a good bargain? Makeup is amazing and fun to use, but you shouldn’t have to spend hundreds on high-end products to have good quality in your products. Drugstores sell a decent amount that gets the job done!

#tritales
i tend to purchase whatever is on offer, i don’t wear makeup on a daily basis and forget to moisturise despite keeping a pot of cream by the side of my bed
Thanks for sharing! I have been an Avon rep for a few years now, so I use all of their makeup…but they keep discontinuing my favorite products. 🙁 I think it’s time to switch to back to drug store.
I am so happy you wrote and shared this! I need some of that dream wonder foundation! #triumphantales
I think I might try their primer – mines really expensive and I’m sure a more reasonably priced one would work just as well – thanks for the tip #TriumphantTales
