Let’s talk about: Mark Hill – WonderSpray…

22 July 2016 2 min read

I don’t ‘do’ beauty posts as a rule. But I don’t rule them out either. I’m a girl after all and every now and again I might come across something that I need to rave about. But it has to be good. Like REALLY good. If I’m not uber impressed with something I really can’t be arsed to write about it. I think you get where I’m coming from. Anyway. I’m going on a bit now so let’s just get on with it.

Now there is every chance I’m super late to this party but I figured if I am, some of you may be as well so I thought “screw it, I’ll write about it anyway”. If you have hair that’s a bit lifeless and a bit limp and a bit fine and pretty much. a little bit shit, then we need to talk. Or rather, you need to listen…

A couple in months ago I won something at my little boys preschool fete. Yes, you heard that correctly. That ‘thing’ was a bottle of Mark Hill’s ‘WonderSpray’. On the bottle it promises to Hold, Volumise, Texturise, Smooth, Control, Lift, Tame, Protect and Shape. Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it?

For years I’ve been using Tresemme Freeze Hold Spray to give my limp poker straight hair some kind of thickness and texture. It’s been great but it was just too much. It didn’t let my hair move much and it was a bitch to brush out – even more so if you forgot to brush it before you washed it. So I was actually excited for the first time in forever about winning a prize at a fete. I need to cut to it. This stuff is AMAZING. It retails at £6.99. Now I hear you. It’s a little pricey but believe me, it’s worth all 699 little pennies. It has totally transformed my hair from boring flyaway fairy hair to textured beach blonde loveliness and I really can’t be without it.

Primarily I use it to give my hair thickness and texture but the awesome thing is the hairspray element part of it works brilliant as well. This is much needed when you’re growing out a long fringe like I am. I now love wearing my hair down whereas so many times before I’d stick it up in a messy bun. You can spray it on dry hair or wet hair – in fact somehow it actually speeds up the drying process – don’t ask me how!

I am just totally smitten with this product and the minute I run out I have to get more. I get mine from Boots but I’m sure it’s available at many other retail outlets either on the High Street or online. Boots currently have it on offer for an awesome £5. Trust me on this. Go get some. You need it in your life.

Thank you, as always for reading and I wish you all a very Happy Hair Day!

This is exactly what I need to sort out my too long and limp hair! What a bargain at £6.99. I agree with you that every now and again we should try new products, instead of sticking to the norm, as you never know whether you’ll love it! Thanks for sharing this at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
